Better than the restThomasI've been using other brands, all them have quirks and problems that get real annoying.
The Timmerflotte works with homekit. The sensor pairs easily. I like that you can tap it for the temp/humidity. It has one good thing going for it that makes is superior to the others, It just works. No having to mess around with it every few weeks. it stays connected to homekit, no having to re-pair it or reseting the hub randomly.
There is one other thing that got my attention, the price.

Mostly great, but disconnects for no reasonJamesI bought four of these and they were easy to set up with Home Assistant. The data is more than accurate enough for my needs.
The one serious problem is that every 2 months or so one of the them will disconnect. It will not connect again until the batteries are removed and replaced. It's not just a dead battery, because putting the same batteries back in works fine. This is no big deal if you are just looking at temperatures for curiosity, but in my case an automation failed while I was out of town.
I have 40 other Matter devices from 6 other manufacturers and these are the least reliable.
Minor issue: the battery level indicator isn't very good. Even freshly charged Ikea or Eneloop batteries show well below 100% and the value never gets below 65% before the sensor stops working or disconnects.
I'm buying another today to complete a project, but I'd be buying even more if the connection issue could be fixed.
“Thread boarder Router required”ChrisI bought some of these to lay around the house though they will not connect to HomeKit. Like the grillplats, if tried restarting my HomePod minis, the device itself, the device I’m using to add to HomeKit—everything! I really want to like them but Matter over Thread is suppose to be an easier integration of smart home devices. Yet these timmerflottes and grillplats have been the most frustrating things to try to get connected.
All of the other thread devices I have connected were a breeze only taking maybe 3mins to add to HomeKit at most.
Whole home tempKyleFor a while, I've wanted to have whole-home temperature sensors to track each room and diagnose any of my HVAC issues, but the cost of temperature sensors can often be quite high.
So, for the price and for the usability with standard batteries, this device has been a game-changer for me. I absolutely love them!

Good temp and humidity sensorMarkGood temp and humidity sensor. I added one to my network cabinet to make sure nothing over heats. I like it. I would suggest to Ikea to make it magnetic though.
Won’t connect. EhrinHave the latest IKEA hub and HomeKit. This won’t connect at all. Nor will the new light switches. I got one of three of those going so it IS possible. Tried different frequencies and cutting the vlan. Nope. The old IKEA with zigbee worked pretty flawlessly if slightly laggy. These new products are a hot mess.
Fantastic, but with one flawIanPicked up a couple of these to go into the bedroom and living room, which were the final two rooms in my apartment that needed temperature readouts. I paired my TIMMERFLOTTE units to Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi and the connection process was flawless, reporting works great, and every entity is shown in Home Assistant. The ONLY issue I'm having is the temperature is rather inaccurate. It's not a dealbreaker, as I can adjust for this in Home Assistant and have a much more accurate temperature in Home Assistant once I measure how far off this truly is (I didn't plan on reading directly from the TIMMERFLOTTE that often, I just wanted this to be a data point for Home Assistant automations). That said, for the folks who may have planned on getting the temp readout directly from the unit, this may be an issue for you, or it may be an issue if you're not using Home Assistant and don't have a way to compensate for inaccurate temperatures.
Fun Little DeviceMichaelBought on a whim since I like smart home devices. Using in my lower level. Only issue is it lost contact with my home app. Kind of a grownup toy. Good for the price.
Fantastic sensor at a great pricePaulIf you don't need the full air quality sensor functions and price and just want temp and humidity, this is perfect. Put one in you basement to make sure it's not too humid in summer. Put one in your crawl-space to make sure your pipes don't freeze in winter. Put one behind the tv or another hidden spot to make sure the kids aren't turning the AC down to 60° when you aren't home. You're able to check both measurements from your Home app and also the battery level. Simple and effective.
Great little temp sensorJenniferThis is a great temp sensor that captures data and integrates seamlessly with the IKEA Home app. I only got one but will be getting a few more for different locations around the house.
Thread works great.NathanI cannot verify the accuracy of the temperature and humidity measurements, but these paired without issue on an Apple TV 4K 3rd gen with ethernet. Bought two in-store to use at home. One upstairs and one downstairs. They've super efficient as the display only comes on when you click them.

Quality sensor at an affordable priceKatherineI purchased two of these sensors for our home and then a third for future use. Our home is prone to an imbalance in the heating/cooling between floors, and these sensors are really helpful in tracking accurate temperature and humidity settings to track what is happening. We got them set up with our IKEA hub, and can also access them through our Google Home app. Being able to press the sensor and directly access temp/humidity info is also really helpful. Great product at a great price!
Great product once you figure out how to connect it JennI use a non-IKEA smart hub, and while it took me a while to figure out how to connect them, they are great! At only $10 USD a pop, it’s a great sensor to use to monitor my air temp for my AC.
Thread networking is unreliable.JeffNice little sensors that would be 5 stars if they didn't have a serious flaw -- they are not reliable on a Thread network. Two bugs: They don't update their Thread routes when the Thread topology changes, and they will drop off the network entirely after a few weeks.
Simple sensor, needs more settings in-appMathewYou can't beat the price, basic yet stylish. Temp accuracy is questionable at times. Using it in IKEA's Homesmart app offers limited options. I'd like to see additional settings in the App to get high/low temp notifications and to control plugs and bulbs for additional alerts and functionality similar to the leak sensor.

These do not work with Amazon Echo as StatedMelissaWhile this device claims it works with Matter over the threat on a 4th generation Amazon Echo, do not be fooled. It will not work without a firmware update that requires the Ikea hub, so if you don't have one of those, don't bother. The best part is even though these were shipped to me, to return them, I have to drive 2 hours to the nearest store to return them. Wow.
Lasted three monthsTomWorked great. Then it started dripping off the network. Just spent hours not getting anything to connect. It still tells temperature and humidity but it's permanently offline.
