A pricy but comfy chairDannyI was hesitant to spend $200 on a low chair with no head or arm support but after a few weeks of using it, I say it was worth it. Lightweight, stylish, and most importantly, comfy.
I look forward to sitting down on it and have already have had multiple hour sessions on it. If I need to rest my neck or head I just scoot down and lean my neck on the top of the backrest. No pain or discomfort while on it. It's basically a comfy couch in a small, low form factor.
But because it is very low so I wouldn't recommend it pairing it with desk or if you're close to 6 feet tall. Assembly was simple but getting the green cover to completely to cover the black inner was tricky and took multiple attempts. Finally, the cover isn't washable so that's a concern for me.5
Easy to assemble, great accent chairSamuelThe chair is easy to assemble and looks great for a accent chair. It feels comfortable when sitting and I am 6ft tall. The chair is pretty light, so you can move it around with ease. I recommend using a lint roller when you first set it up. I did have a issue where the top cushion velcro didn't align with the bottom cushion velcro. the mating velcros had about 1 inch of space. After many attempts pulling/stretching the fabric down with no success I decided to exchange it. I think it was a one off. I was able to exchange it and the new chair gave me no issues.4
Perfect for hobbit sized humansCristinaTried this chair out during my last visit to Ikea. I love it! My feet actually touch the floor, and it was very supportive for my messed up back. This hobbit will be taking one home to the Shire as soon as I can find the space for it!5
Retro vibe!MingxuanSuch a cute chair and surprisingly really really comfy!! Highly recommend:)5
A solid buyIsaacI love sitting in this chair, its very comfortable and surprisingly good on your back despite the angle. My cat sits on this chair all the time and it is easy to clean as well, 5/5 would highly recommend buying5
Worth ItAndriaPrice might be a little steep for a swivel chair but it is SO comfy and set up took literally 1 minute. It adds such a unique look to your space. 5
Great chairLeighIt’s a comfy little chair. I’m glad I finally got it. I wish they had slip covers because that would make it easier to maintain but I really love the color of the green chair. 5
Cool chair IvanIt’s good chair to have in the room 5
Pleasure to sit on. MarianoNeeded something to put in my small bedroom, because I didn’t want to be in the computer chair watching tv. And this is just so comfortable and perfect. 5
One of my favorite pieces in my apartment ZoriéI knew about this chair but it didn’t look comfortable online. I was in store recently and decided to sit on it at a whim. I immediately went to grab to purchase as it was so comfortable. The green color is stunning and the assembly was so easy, which saved me so much on time. Love love love!5
Low Profile seat (Black)NoelNice & comfy, but low profile seat. Perfect for those who are shorter in stature as it sits lower to the ground. Easy to assemble.5
So lumpy and bumpyValerieWe were super excited about getting a couple of these orange swivel chairs, waiting until they came into stock and jumping on ordering when a window of availability came up. After seeing all the good reviews it was a surprise to find that the filling was very lumpy (like filled with chunks making very evident bumps). It was not the kind of thing that could be fixed in any way. Also we did not find the design comfortable, seat is flat and it leans back too far. Btw, orange is super bright.2
Soooo comfySamanthaMy son picked it out for his room and I have to admit, it is a GREAT chair! It's the perfect size for a preteen to hang out and read or play games and super squishy too. 5
Finally back in stock!!Anonymous reviewerI waited almost a year for the Dylvinge (green) chair to be back in stock, and it didn't disappoint. It's quite low, so not ideal for my 6'1 husband, but perfect for me! So comfortable, and feels solid and well made. Love the design. Definitely brings some life and coolness to our room.5
best chair of my lifeJoshI was sitting on the ground and now I'm not. You wouldn't know how good it feels. Also I LOVE YOU ikea, thank you for the opportunity to review my favorite chair. Muah muah #living that college life5
Cool VIBES BarbaraAdorable funky and stylish! Made so well and easy to put together 5
Love the SwivelAngelaI saw the green Dyvlinge on display and sat down. It is so comfortable. And the fabric and color is perfect. Unfortunately, it was not in stock at Pittsburgh. I signed up for an email alert to be notified when it came back in stock. As soon as it arrived in Pittsburgh I did a click and collect order. Glad I acted promptly, the Green Dyvlinge sold out in one day. It was easy to assemble. The base is very sturdy and made of chrome. Make sure to pay attention to details and pull the fabric tight and line up with the velcro. It sits low to the floor, and i love that. A great chair. And if you need another chair of similar design, check out the yellow Sotenäs. 💛 5
Love itSangLove this product4
Fun Cozy ChairStephenI like this chair. It's a little short but very comfy and cozy. Perfect for sitting criss cross and vibing. I waited a while to snag a green one when it restocked and I haven't regretted it. Really easy to put together and the swivel is super smooth.5
Solid, with its caveatsBenThe chair is constructed well enough for longevity. Cushion is by far better than most IKEA furniture and feels great to sit in. For anyone else complaining it's small, it's not. Maybe it's just a you problem and sitting is probably the last thing you should be doing if this is "too small".4
